Small Gorges of Alcantara
The Small Gorges of the Gole dell'Alcantara River Park are small canyons that were created by the cooling of basaltic lavas in the waters of the Alcantara river.
The path that leads to these gorges, which starts from the Ponte di San Nicola, it is characterized by a flat and superbly panoramic route, it offers significant points of observation in a stretch of the river characterized by the lava bed and the presence of gurne and waterfalls.
