Church of San Rocco in Savoca
The Church of San Rocco in Savoca is today in a state of ruin.
It was built in 1593 and today only the perimeter walls and the stone portal remain. Although small in size, in ancient times the church was of great importance: it was richly adorned with valuable works, which have now disappeared, and was at the centre, between the 17th and 19th centuries, of sumptuous religious celebrations in honor of Saint Rocco.
