Rossotti Chiarelli Palace in Alcamo
The Palazzo Rossotti Chiarelli di Alcamo is an 18th century noble building. The façade, in Baroque style , has five windows on the ground floor and seven secondary entrances that are now part of some houses, and a main entrance of particular value. On the first floor there are five balconies with carved stone shelves and walkways. Of particular interest are the two main balconies, with carved walkways and a rounded iron railing. The door frames of the balconies have floral elements and Corinthian capitals surmounted by an architrave and the family crest, represented by a shield with wavy lines, surmounted by a rampant and crowned lion, turned towards a rising sun. In the upper part there is a medallion with a figure of a woman in relief.
