The Plaja di Castellammare del Golfo is a wide coastline of golden sand, set within a mountainous landscape, a few steps from the city center. The coast is characterized by the presence of beaches that offer the smallest areas equipped for entertainment with qualified personnel and for the largest disparate sports activities, from beach volleyball, to water sports, to canoe and pedal boat rental. There are also stretches of free beach.
