Beaches Suitable for Children in the Egadi Islands
There are several beaches on the Egadi islands suitable for children .
The Calamoni Beach in Favignana has numerous small sandy beaches characterized by a shallow seabed that slopes down a lot slowly, it is in fact connected to the center by a comfortable asphalted road.
Lido Burrone in Favignana is the largest sandy beach on the island. The beach is served by a beach with umbrellas and deck chairs. Bars and restaurants are located nearby.
The Cala Azzurra in Favignana rises in an area protected from the winds, and is therefore characterized by a particularly calm sea. This area is also recommended for its ease of access, it is in fact easily accessible from the town even with the help of bicycles.
The Marasolo Beach in Favignana , a sandy beach where there are also some rocks to watch out for. The beach can be easily reached by land or by sea.
Cala Dogana in Levanzo is a small pebble beach immersed in the picturesque setting of fishermen's houses. The beach is easily reached on foot from the town center and has easy access to the sea.
Cala Fredda in Levanzo is located in a very sheltered area so the sea is generally very calm. The beach can be reached in about ten minutes on foot from the town, and entering the water is very easy.
Scalo Vecchio and Scalo Nuovo in Marettimo are two very beautiful beaches located respectively near the Old Port and the New Port. They are easily accessible from the town and, since the coast slowly degrades, access to the water is very simple.
