Ligny Tower Museum of Trapani
The Torre di Ligny Civic Museum in Trapani is located inside the Ligny Tower, a military construction dating back to 1671 placed as an extreme defense of the city of Trapani.
The museum's main collection consists of finds recovered from the seabed of the Trapani coast. A collection of objects of prehistoric origin is also exhibited. The exhibits are made up, on the whole, of heterogeneous finds such as helmets, amphorae, anchors and beaks of ships of Greek, Roman and Punic origin, whose only common factor is the area of the finds.
