Mother Church of Christ the King in Valderice
The Mother Church of Cristo Re in Valderice is a modern building of worship located in the heart of the village, opposite the square of the same name from which it is possible to enjoy a splendid panorama.
It was built at the beginning of the twentieth century on land donated to the diocese by Baron Girolamo Adragna, and opened for worship on 7 August 1950. At the end of the last century the presbytery, the baptismal font, the ambo, the Eucharistic table and the presidential seat were enlarged and redistributed. Inside the church there is a marble bust of Dr. Alberto Adragna and a plaque with the names of the Benefactor Citizens.
