Church of Maria SS. of Purity in Valderice
The Church of Maria Santissima della Purità in Valderice is one of the buildings of worship in the village.
It was built starting in 1866 and opened for worship forty years later.
The building has a single nave with four side altars and is decorated with stuccos by the master Leonardo Calandra.
Among the works kept inside the church we find the statue of the Madonna and two other wooden sculptures by the sculptor Pietro Croce. Of particular value is a precious crucifix with an alabaster base.
