Church of Madonna di Tagliavia in Vita
The Church of the Madonna del Rosario, better known as the Church of the Madonna di Tagliavia, is a very important place of worship for the village.
The original chapel was built in 1896 following a miraculous event that happened to a local farmer called Giuseppe Perricone Monaco. In 1933, the chapel was enlarged to create the current building at the behest of his daughter Maria Perticone Triolo.
The gabled façade, ending with a slightly projecting pediment, is marked by two pairs of pilasters that separate the body of the 'building with the bell tower structure that stands on the side.
The interior, a single nave, presents valuable frescoes depicting the mysteries of the Rosary and some episodes of the life of Mary works by the painter Luigi Maniscalco from Santa Caterina di Villarmosa dating back to 1962.
