Malvasia delle Lipari DOC, also known as Malvasia delle Eolie, is the designation of origin of Malvasia-based wines produced in the Aeolian Islands. Malvasia delle Lipari, known as nectar of the gods, is a DOC wine that comes from vineyards perched on terraces overlooking the sea. An example of heroic viticulture that brings to light one of the oldest and most celebrated oenological pearls in the Mediterranean. The native vine recalls ripe apricot, figs, elderberry and raisins with hints of Mediterranean scrub.
