Terracotta is one of the ancient arts of Sicily. It is a type of ceramic that after the firing process has a color variation from yellow to brick red due to the presence of iron oxide. This also improves its resistance by reducing the porosity of the object.
Sicilian artisans produce, with the same traditional techniques and styles of the past, objects such as races, quarters, bowls and plates.
