Serre di Furore in Naro
Serre di Furore in Naro is a prehistoric site of great archaeological interest.
The rocky ridge on which the site is located shows traces of hut bases and cave tombs, with single and double burials. It is believed that these places were inhabited by the Sicani starting from the 4th millennium BC. On the highest part of the rocky ridge is the Campanaro, a rock with a particular shape. At the foot of the rocky ridge, along the state road 576, is the Porcaro cave, in a good state of conservation, used in recent times as a makeshift shelter for men and animals.
