Carrivalate of San Cono
The Carrivalates are a form of itinerant theater, played by actors on horseback, which is characteristic of the village of San Cono only.
These actors go around the districts of the town on the back of their horse and recite allegories on the trades, customs and customs of the peasant world. The texts are in dialectal verses, written in rhyme kissed by local poets.
The poet who boasts the largest number of written works is Angelo La Loggia, famous are the carriage rides: The Ladder of Life, The months of the year, Sicilian Carrivali, The wind rose.
