Feast of San Giuseppe in Raddusa

The festival in honor of the patron saint San Giuseppe in Raddusa takes place on March 19th, on the occasion of the liturgical anniversary, and on September 19th, when the great patronal feast takes place.
festival > 19 March the altars of San Giuseppe are set up, large tables with the breads of San Giuseppe and typical traditional dishes, including pasta di San Giuseppe, a legume-based soup . The traditional banquet also takes place in which three figures take part, once chosen from among the poorest people in the town, who represent Saint Joseph, the Madonna and Child Jesus.

The patronal feast in honor of Saint Joseph takes place takes place on 19 September and is preceded by a rich religious and recreational programme.
Many moments characterize the celebrations: pilgrimages, the translation of the Simulacrum of Saint Joseph, the solemn Eucharistic celebration and the procession of the Simulacrum of the Patron Saint for the city ​​streets.
