Here are the nativity scenes that make up the itinerary:

1 - Nativity scene of the Church of San Bartolomeo
The nativity scene of the Church of San Bartolomeo is a wooden nativity scene considered among the oldest nativity scenes in Sicily. According to local historians, the commission to create the nativity scene was given in 1570, with subsequent commissions, the last of which was in 1773.
The statues of the nativity scene are made of lime wood and are 70 centimeters high. Initially there were 65, today following theft and deterioration there remain 29. The background of the nativity scene recalls the side of the San Matteo hill with its caves distributed along the bends of rocky heights. The Holy Family is placed in front of the temple ruins, symbol of the victory of Christianity over paganism.

6 - Miss Maria Grazia Arrabito nativity scene
This nativity scene began with a few figurines when I was a child , in looking at him, I already felt an arcane music inside me that I still carry in my heart. When I became an adult I thought about renewing the figurines and I started going to Caltagirone in December, during the period of the Immaculate Conception, and I was fascinated by the figurines of the ceramist Velardita. In fact, I began to commission more than half of the figurines of my nativity scene which were made to order (the old woman spinning wool, the woman at the well, etc.) so year after year I enriched it more and more. A nativity scene that has acquired great value for its figurines and sentimental value, in fact it remains fixed throughout the year in my living room.
