As per tradition, some of the faithful carry the icon of the Angel on their shoulders, who, three times, shuttles between the statue of the Risen Jesus and that of the Madonna, before they can meet. The firing of firecrackers and the auspicious descent of the dove, a symbol of peace, celebrate the resurrection of Christ.
