Living Nativity of Milazzo

The Living Nativity Scene of Milazzo is set up inside the extraordinary location of the fortified Citadel.
The Living Nativity Scene accompanies the visitor along a virtual journey through time up to Palestine in the year 0, reconstructed on four anthropological stages: the Roman encampment , with the strong presence of the military apparatus and the religious and pleasure-loving entourage that has always accompanied the identity of viri conquistadors; the voluptuous eastern area, filled with soothing music and belly dancers; the Jewish Bethlehem and Nazareth, the birthplace of Jesus but also a commercial center, a pulsating center of life unknowingly illuminated by the sacredness of the evangelical tradition.
Alongside the classic scenes, moments of acting, dance and live music will be proposed, recreating the lifestyle of the time.
The event is concentrated in the area of ​​the keep and recreates in the cells the various representations of the different trades and the main scene of the nativity.
Exhibitions will also be set up inside the rooms of the keep Christmas themed.
