The visitor will be able to taste a succession of dishes that reflect the characteristics of the popular cuisine of Vicara based on products from the surrounding area.
From a gastronomic point of view, there are many dishes to taste, that is, the 5 courses that cannot be missed on the Vicarese table: dry sausage with wild fennel, fresh ricotta and mature cheeses, first courses based on fresh local durum wheat pasta, elaborate soups with chickpeas and broad beans, boiled meats to which pork, sheep and goat meat and wild herbs are added, dried figs and honey accompanied by cooked wine flavoured, they are carefully prepared with traditional local recipes in the small medieval village of Vicari.
