Cuccìa festival in Casteltermini
The Sagra della Cuccìa in Casteltermini takes place in the month of December and celebrates the sweet symbol of these lands.
The Cuccìa is a spoon dessert made from wheat with ricotta or white milk cream which is traditionally prepared on the occasion of the feast of Saint Lucia.
On the occasion of the gastronomic event it is possible taste typical products and specialties of the area together with the traditional Cuccìa di Santa Lucia.
Traditionally on the days of the festival the Santa Lucia Market is set up with artisanal artefacts, local products and Christmas gifts.

11:00 FREE DISTRIBUTION of CUCCÌA TRDITIONAL AT THE PRO LOCO STAND;
16:00 PRESENTAZIONE DEL PROGETTO “CARISSIMO MONDO” A CURA DEGLI ALUNNI DELL' I.C. “G.A. DE COSMI”;
18:00 TASTING OF CUCCIA WITH CUSTARD CREAMS AND MOTTED WINE IN THE PRO LOCO STAND;
20:00 FREEDOM AND SIKELIA NATIVITY DRAW.
DURING THE MARKETS VARIOUS MOMENTS OF CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT ARE PROVIDED.
AMONG THE STANDS IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO ADMIRE THE WISHING TREE AND OTHER DECORATIONS, ALL HAND MADE BY THE "UNCINETTINE" OF CASTELTERMINESI TO PROMOTE THE PROJECT ENTITLED "A THREAD THAT UNITES: FROM TRIVENTO TO CASTELTERMINI".
