On the island of Salina, the Caper Festival takes place on the first Sunday of June. In the small square of Pollara, an enchanting village in the municipality of Malfa, various tables are set up with eno / gastronomic dishes based on capers, prepared by both private individuals and restaurateurs. The caper is used in confectionery, in the preparation of ice creams, creams, liqueurs and candied fruit is used in various desserts such as cannoli, panettone, cakes. The evening is enlivened by a musical group.
