Wheat Festival in Baucina
The Grain Festival in Baucina takes place every year in August and celebrates the ancient traditions linked to the harvesting and processing of wheat.
During the gastronomic event, historical re-enactments of the Pisata and the Spagghiata during which the ancient technique used to separate the wheat from the straw by means of mules is shown.
Demonstrative workshops will also be set up where you can discover the ancient techniques of preparing bread and pasta, as well as workshops of ancient crafts: blacksmiths, basket makers, embroiderers, housewives, ....
On the occasion of the Grain Festival, the Baucina Street Food will also take place, an event dedicated to typical local stray food.
The day will be enlivened by folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
