Christmas Eve in Polizzi Generosa
On the evening of December 24 in Polizzi Generosa you can participate in the vigil. According to tradition, various nativity scenes are set up and typical dishes are prepared such as: "u cunigghiu" cooked with thistles, olives, potatoes, cod, celery, courgettes and artichokes; and the "cucciddati", pastry filled with dried fruit and pumpkin.
