Museum of Manna of the Zingaro Reserve
The Museum of Manna , located within the Zingaro reserve, is located inside a cave.
The museum, rustic and small, offers the viewer the view of a few old tools for the collection and conservation of ash. In fact, manna, an edible sap, is extracted from the bark of the ash tree.
In the summer season, a "hacker" will illustrate the characteristics of manna and of this almost disappeared profession.
The Museum is open only during certain seasons of the year.
