The "Minne di Vergine", "Virgin's breasts", are a typical dessert of the city of Alcamo. These are breast-shaped pastas, filled with whitish milk cream and ricotta, and scented with cinnamon.
According to tradition, this dessert was invented by the nuns of Alcamo who gave it the name "minne di vergine" due to its dome shape.
