Cialdoni, also known as "Ciarduna", are Sicilian sweets very similar to cannoli. The peculiarity of the wafers is the rind made of shortcrust pastry that is rolled around tubes and baked in the oven. Once cooked, the rind is entirely covered with chopped almonds.
