Crocchè Palermitane
Street Food
Enzo Rippa - CC4.0
The "Crocchè" or "Cazzilli" are one of the typical gastronomic specialties of the street food of Palermo cuisine. They are potato croquettes with pepper and parsley modeled with a typical oval shape and strictly fried. It is possible to find them in all the fry shops in Palermo. They can be enjoyed alone, in the classic coppo (paper cone) or in the middle of a sandwich, perhaps accompanied by panelle. Bread, panelle and crocchè are a winning triptych of Palermo street food!
