The "Spincia di Custonaci" is a soft pancake made with simple ingredients: flour, milk and potatoes. The name derives from the Latin spongia, or from the Arabic isfanǧ, with the meaning of "sponge". In the territory of Custunaci these sweets are strictly made in the shape of a donut.
