Nebrodi black pig is a pig, more similar in appearance to a wild boar, small in size and dark coat reared in a semi-wild and wild state in large areas used for grazing. Thanks to the semi-wild breeding in the Nebrodi woods, the meat of these pigs acquires flavors and aromas of extraordinary intensity. It also lends itself well to seasoning, becoming salami, capocollo, pancetta or sausage.
